Federico Vigolo

Welcome to my home page (last updated in April 2025).
I am a Junior Professor in pure maths at the University of Göttingen and a PI of RTG 2491 - Fourier Analysis and Spectral Theory.

I am one of the Equal Opportunities Officers (Gleichstellungsbeauftragte) of the Mathematical Institute.

Research interests

My main interests are in Coarse Geometry and its interaction with other subjects (operator algebras, index theory, group theory, ... ).
Some specific topics I worked on are: Roe algebras; Expander Graphs; coarse Baum–Connes; Actions on Metric/Measure Spaces; CAT(0) and Hyperbolic Cube Complexes.
